Malaysia is an Islamic country. In my opinion, despite the recognized Malaysia as an Islamic state, not necessarily all residents of the country should be occupied by Muslims. In fact, the existence of various religious and ethnic groups in the country to strengthen the ties between Malaysia and other countries. In addition, we are also able to recognize and understand the cultures and other religions. This can create a sense of respect for one another. Knowledge of nations, cultures and other religions can help us to distinguish between good and which are bad. This can also open our minds about the outside world. Economic development will also be improved and the country of Malaysia will not be left behind in the economic competition in the current era of globalization. Something more special though Malaysia is a Muslim country for all Malaysians can live in peace and harmony in the country despite the different religions, races and cultures.
